<p>This is Asia&#8217;s tallest and Longest Structure was built to meet agricultural needs. This was built in 1966 to carry River water.</p>



<p>This bridge stands at 115 ft height and built across the river&nbsp;Parazhiyar. This 29 Pillar bridge canal is 8 ft depth and 2.27 wide which carries water for&nbsp;Vilavancode and Kalkulam taluks.</p>

<p>Vivekananda Rock Memorial Details, Timings, Entry fee, Boating Charges</p>



<p>As per the folklore, Swamy Vivekananda reached this place on 24 Dec 1892 and meditated for 3 days ie 25Dec &#8211; 27Dec.&nbsp;This memorial construction was started in the year 1964 and took 6 years for completion. 650 workers contributed in building this great memorial and made available to the public from 1970. This memorial houses the Statue of Swamy Vivekananda. It is believed that Goddess Kanyakumari did penance on this rock.</p>



<p>This rock is surrounded by waters of the Bay of Bengal, Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea.&nbsp;Spectacular view from this point, The Indian Ocean is deep blue and the Bay of Bengal is a bit greenish in colour.</p>



<p>Peak Season: 2nd week of Dec- 2nd Week of Jan. Full moon day, Chitra Pournami day.</p>



<p>Best Time to Visit: Dec-Mar.</p>



<p>Entry fees: Rs.20/ person</p>



<p>Journey Time from Shore: 5-10 mins by Ferry. Ferry Service runs at regular intervals.</p>



<p>Location: 400 mt from&nbsp;Vavathurai Shore.</p>
