Temple remains open for 24 hours on all days.

Darshan will not be available during Aarti Timings: 6:20 am – 8:00 am and 7:20 pm – 8:30 pm. Daily.

Devotees with valid Yatra Parchi can have Darshan anytime.

Vaishno Devi Opening Time

The devotee who did online Darshan ticket booking must carry Credit or Debit Card thru which is the transaction was made.

The devotee must carry Valid Photo ID proof to avail Darshan. ID proof is mandatory for all the devotees.

Children under 3 years don’t need tickets. It is free entry.

Dress Code: Any decent outfit

Darshan waiting time: 2 to 10 hours. Depends on the crowd.

1 to 2 hours during Offseason such as Feb and Mar months. 4 to 5 hours during May, Jun months. 6 to 9 hours during festival days and Holidays.

How to reach Vaishno Devi Mandir?

By Air

1. The nearest airport is at Jammu which is 50 km from Katra. Temple can be reached by Helicopter as well.

By Train

1. The nearest railway station is at Katra. The direct trains are available from all parts of the country to Jammu and Katra.

By Road

1. This Temple can be reached by walk and by mule transportation available at the entry points.
