Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Tirupati

One must take a holy dip or wash their feet before taking steps to Tirumala. It is also called Alwar Theertham. Kapileswara Swamy temple is dedicated to Lord Siva. This temple is 3 Km from Tirupati Bus station.

Sri Padmavathi Devi Temple, Tiruchanur

It is the birthplace of Goddess Lakshmi. One must visit this temple after Lord Venkateswara Swamy Darshan in Tirumala. This temple is 6 Km from Tirupati Bus station.

Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Srinivasa Mangapuram

This temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara and is 13 Km from Tirupati Bus station. It is believed that Lord Venkateswara along with Goddess Padmavathi stayed here for 6 months after their marriage. It is believed that performing Kalyana Utsavam at this temple and wearing Kalyana Kanakam will be blessed with a Good spouse.

Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Tirupati

This temple is located at a walkable distance from Tirupati Railway station.  Temple entrance is a seven-storeyed gopuram which was built in the year 1628 A.D. To the left of the main gopuram, is a temple dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi who is seated on Lotus. There are shrines dedicated to Sri Andal, Sri Parthasarathy, Sri Venkateswara Swamy and Vedanta Desikar, who was a great Vaishnava devotee and poet.

Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy, Appalayagunta

This temple is 16 Km from Tirupati Bus station and can be reached by Cab as Bus frequency is minimal. Lord Venkateswara Swamy appears in Varada Hasta (Boon Giver).

It takes 7 – 8 hours to cover all these temples by Cab as Bus facility is not available to all these temples. Cab Cost varies with No. Of persons.
