Tirupati Divya Darshan Procedure, Timings, Waiting time, Reporting details

Divya Darshan Tickets are issued to the devotees who reach Tirumala either by Alipiri Metlu or Srivari Metlu path.

Tirupati Divya Darshan Timings

Alipiri Metlu opens for 24 hours and Ticket counter opens at 10:00 pm. Srivari metlu opens from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Usually, it takes 3 hours 30 mins to 4 hours 30 mins to reach Tirumala by Alipiri Mettu and 2 hours to 2 hours 45 mins by Srivari Mettu. Divya Darshan Timings: 8:30 am to 11:30 pm.

Alipiri Mettu

• No.Of Tickets Issued: 14,000 per day.
• Opening Timings: 00:00 am – 11:59 pm.
• Ticket Counter: Near 100th Step
• No.of steps to reach Hilltop: 3550

On any day, Divya Darshan slot opens at 10:00 pm for the following day darshan.

Srivari Mettu

• No.Of tickets Issued: 6,000 per day
• Open Timings: 6:00 am – 5:30 am
• Ticket Counter: Near 100th step
• Divya Darshan slot opens at 6:00 am for the following day.
• No.Of steps to reach Hilltop: 2350

No.Of Laddus Issued per ticket: 5. 4 Laddus cost Rs.70 and 1 Free Laddu for Tirupati Divya Darshan tickets.

Baggage Depositing Centers

1. The devotee can leave their bags at the steps entrance.
2. Baggage depositing counters available at Alipiri and Srivari Mettu Entrance.
3. For Alipiri Mettu, Baggage can be collected at GNC Toll Gate
4. For Srivari Mettu, It is available at MBC.

Tirupati Divya Darshan Procedure

• Ticket Cost: Free
• One Ticket per person. Children under 12 years don’t need tickets.
• The Ticket will not have the Darshan slot. Darshan slot will be allotted at the final checkpoint which is near to Tirumala.
• Divya Darshan Slot timings run  with 8 – 10 hours gap during Weekends. For E.g, if the devotee takes steps path at 10:00 am, Darshan slot will be at 8:00 pm on the same day.
• Tickets are limited on any day. Next day slot starts at opening hours.
• Any Valid Photo ID proof (Government issued document) is mandatory to avail Darshan tickets.
• Tickets are issued on all days. The counter might be closed on Special days such as Garuda Vahana Seva during Brahmotsavam, New year, Vaikunta Ekadasi, Vaikunta Dwadasi, Rathasapthami and other Major festival days.
• Biometric system to issue Darshan Tickets. Tickets are non-transferrable and can’t be postponed.
• When the crowd is minimal, the devotees can have early Darshan. It is not mandatory to stick to the allotted Darshan slots.
• At the entrance of the steps path, the Security checkpoint is available. Body scanning and material scanning will be done here.
