<p>Ranthambore Fort History, Timings, Entry fees, Online Booking</p>



<p>This fort was built during the reign of Maharaja Jayanta in 5th Century AD. Yadavas ruled this region till they were expelled by Prithviraj Chauhan in 12th Century AD. Hammir Deo was the powerful ruler who ruled this region during 1282 &#8211; 1301 AD. Hammir Deo bravely fought against Allauddin Khilji. In 1301 AD, Sultans of Delhi occupied the fort. Later this came under the rule of Rana Sanga during 1509 &#8211; 1527 AD.</p>



<p>Fort was built 481 mt above the sea level and occupies 12 km of area. This is the 2nd largest fort in Rajasthan.</p>
