It houses Stone Sculptures and Bronze idols from the Pallava and Chola dynasty. It has separate rooms for Shell, Fossil and Geology, French furniture. Pre-Christian relics from the Tsung periods in China, precious stones can be found here. 10th Century Buddha Statue is placed in the museum
