This sanctuary stretches over an area of 116.54 Sq. Km.

Year Details
1970 Declared as a Wildlife Sanctuary
2012 The state government made an announcement
to merge this sanctuary and another national park
as part of the Tiger Reserve project.

This sanctuary is inhabited by Tiger, Leopard, Sloth bear, Wild dogs, Sambar, Spotted Deer, Indian Gaur etc. Wild dogs group and Sloth bears are frequently sighted in this park.

Commonly seen birds are drongos, Pheasants, Ground thrush etc.

Best Time to Visit: Mar, Apr and May months. Easy animal sightings under shades and near water pools.

The tourists flow will be high during Dec and Jan months due to holidays.

Nagzira Wildlife Sanctuary Safari

Gypsy: 6 Visitors + 1 Guide + 1 Driver

Mini Bus: 18 Seater+ 1 Driver will be available for the tourists. Limited vehicles are available for the Safari.
