National Park Details

This park stretches over an area of 643 Sq Km.

This park is inhabited by Wild dog, Jackal, Sloth bear, Tiger, Leopard, Indian Bison, Elephant, Spotted deer, Sambar, Gaur, Wild boar etc.

Commonly seen birds are Kingfishers, Common Peafowl, Grey Jungle Fowl, Stork Billed, Malabar Trogon, Honey Buzzards, peacock, etc

This National Park remains open for tourists on all days. The river Kabini which pass thru this park separates Bandipur and Nagarhole National Parks.

Boating and Jeep Safari are the interesting activities at this Park.

Best Time to Visit: Oct – Feb months.
