Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Tirupati

One must take bath or wash feet and hands in Kapilatheertham before starting to Tirumala.

Srivari Pushkarini

The devotee must take a holy dip or wash their feet and hands at Pushkarini after reaching Tirumala.

Hair offering can be done at Kalyanakatta and bathing rooms available at Kalyanakatta itself.

Adhi Varaha Swamy Temple

Must visit the temple before Lord Venkateswara Swamy Darshan. It is said that Varaha Swamy offered space to Lord Venkateswara here in Tirumala hills at the beginning of Kali Yuga.

Darshan duration: 30 – 45 mins.

Location: North Mada street, Tirumala.

Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Tirumala

Darshan duration: 2 -3 hours for Special Entry Darshan.

It is said that Lord Vishnu came to the Earth in search of Goddess Lakshmi.

Sri Padmavathi Devi Tiruchanur

Goddess Lakshmi resides here. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi took birth here in this Pushkarini.

Darshan duration: 30 – 45 mins.

Temples to visit in Tirupati

Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, Srinivasa Mangapuram

It is said that Lord Venkateswara stayed here for 6 months after marrying Goddess Padmavathi.

Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple Tirupati

The main deity will be in Sayana posture and is at a walkable distance from Tirupati Railway station.

Abhishekam not performed at this temple as the deity is made out of Mud.

Gudimallam Sri Parasurameswara Swamy Temple

This is 2 BC Temple. Lord Brahma, Lord Parasurama images were carved on Linga.

Srikalahastheeswara Swamy Temple, Srikalahasti

This temple is dedicated to Lord Siva. This temple is known for Rahu Ketu Kala Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Pooja.

Temple Timings: 5:00 am – 9:00 pm.

Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple, Kanipakam

This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is a Swayambhu Idol and is growing day by day.

Panchamrita Abhishekam is performed daily. Nijaroopa Darshan available after Abhishekam.
