<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Temples to visit in Tirupati Before and After Darshan</h3>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Kapileswara Swamy Temple, Tirupati</h4>



<p>One must take bath or wash feet and hands in Kapilatheertham before starting to Tirumala. </p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><a href="https://gotirupati.com/swami-pushkarini/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Srivari Pushkarini (opens in a new tab)">Srivari Pushkarini</a></h4>



<p>The devotee must take a holy dip or wash their feet and hands at Pushkarini after reaching Tirumala.</p>



<p>Hair offering can be done at Kalyanakatta and bathing rooms available at Kalyanakatta itself.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Adhi Varaha Swamy Temple</h4>



<p>Must visit the temple before Lord Venkateswara Swamy Darshan. It is said that Varaha Swamy offered space to Lord Venkateswara here in Tirumala hills at the beginning of Kali Yuga.</p>



<p>Darshan duration: 30 &#8211; 45 mins.</p>



<p>Location: North Mada street, Tirumala.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Lord Venkateswara Swamy Temple, Tirumala</h4>



<p>Darshan duration: 2 -3 hours for Special Entry Darshan.</p>



<p>It is said that Lord Vishnu came to the Earth in search of Goddess Lakshmi.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Sri Padmavathi Devi Tiruchanur</h4>



<p>Goddess Lakshmi resides here. It is believed that Goddess Lakshmi took birth here in this Pushkarini.</p>



<p>Darshan duration: 30 &#8211; 45 mins.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy, Srinivasa Mangapuram</h4>



<p>It is said that Lord Venkateswara stayed here for 6 months after marrying Goddess Padmavathi.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple Tirupati</h4>



<p>The main deity will be in Sayana posture and is at a walkable distance from Tirupati Railway station.</p>



<p>Abhishekam not performed at this temple as the deity is made out of Mud.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Gudimallam Sri Parasurameswara Swamy Temple</h4>



<p>This is 2 BC Temple. Lord Brahma, Lord Parasurama images were carved on Linga. </p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Srikalahastheeswara Swamy Temple, Srikalahasti</h4>



<p>This temple is dedicated to Lord Siva. This temple is known for <a href="https://gotirupati.blogspot.com/2015/04/srikalahasti-temple-rahu-ketu-pooja.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label="Rahu Ketu Kala Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Pooja (opens in a new tab)">Rahu Ketu Kala Sarpa Dosha Nivarana Pooja</a>.</p>



<p>Temple Timings: 5:00 am &#8211; 9:00 pm. </p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple, Kanipakam</h4>



<p>This temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is a Swayambhu Idol and is growing day by day.</p>



<p>Panchamrita Abhishekam is performed daily. Nijaroopa Darshan available after Abhishekam.</p>
