Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam Date and Timings: 20 Apr, 8:00 am – 10:00 am

This festival will be celebrated in a grand way with colourful decorations and traditional rituals. Andhra Pradesh Government officially conducts this ritual. Utsava deities will be decorated to suit the special occasion. Kalyanam starts with the exchange of garlands, Vaag Dhanam and Kanya Dhanam followed by Mangalya Dhaaranam ( tieing knot).

Kodanda Rama Kalyanotsavam Vontimitta

Thousands of devotees participate in this event to watch the divine ritual. After Kalyanam devotees line up to bless the divine couple. On the day of Kalyanotsavam, devotees will get the chance to watch Sri Rama Pattabihshekam.
