Abhishekam Ticket Cost: Rs. 150

No.of persons allowed on a ticket: 2 ( max)

Devotees should carry 2 litres of milk. Don’t carry milk in water bottles, it will not be considered for Abhishekam.

Instead, you can buy 2 litres milk packets for Paalabhishekam.

Milk Packet cost Rs.90 for 3 packets which are sold right next to Arjitha Seva ticket counter.

Kanipakam Palabhishekam

Palabhishekam is a ritual of washing Moola Virat ( main idol) with milk. During this Seva, the garlands, ornaments, silk clothes and all other adornment are removed. The significance of the seva lies in the fact that devotees can see the Lord Vinayaka in his unadorned form during paalabhishekam.

This Abhishekam runs for 5 – 7 mins followed by Alankarana and Darshan.

How to reach Kanipakam Temple from Tirupati?

1. Tirumala Buses (Sapthagiri bus) is available from Tirupati to Kanipakam Temple. It is 1 hour 30 mins by bus.
2. Kanipakam is at a distance of 10 km from Chittoor Bus station.
3. Bus frequency is high from Tirupati to Chittoor, either you can get down at Kanipakam Village entrance, on the highway or you can reach Chittoor then to Kanipakam.
4. Trains to Chittoor available from Tirupati Railway station.
