Kanchi Kamakshi Amman Temple

This temple was built during the reign of Pallava dynasty in the 6th Century. This temple is one of the 51 Shakti Peetas in the Indian Subcontinent.

This Temple dedicated to Lord Siva. It is one of the Pancha Bhootha Sthalam and the Lord here represents The Earth.
