<p>Japanese Peace Pagoda Timings, History, Route</p>



<p>The Foundation stone for the Pagoda construction was laid on 3 Nov 1972. It got finished on 1 Nov 1992 and made available for the devotee&#8217;s visit. This pagoda houses Four Buddha Avatars. It is a two-storey structure and was built with guidance from the Buddhist Monk from Japan. This Peace Pagoda is called by Nippojan Mayoji Buddhist Temple.</p>

<p>Best Time to Visit: Nov-May. Remains open on all days.</p>

<p>10 mins Drive from Darjeeling town.&nbsp; Taxi or Jeep can be hired from Darjeeling Town.</p>
