Hari Ki Pauri Haridwar

There is a foot impression of Lord Vishnu on the stone wall. It is originally called as Brahma Kund, Brahma himself named this Tirtha. Ganga Aarti will be performed here on this Ghat in the morning and evening hours. It is believed that taking a holy dip in this Tirtha will relieve the devotee from rebirth cycle. As per the folklore, Amrit (Nectar) fallen here, hence a dip here will bless with a good health.

“Har” represents Lord Siva, “Ki” means “of” and “Pauri” means “steps”. It is said that Lord Siva and Vishnu visited Brahma Kund.

Ganga Aarti will be performed daily at 06:00 PM. Every day after Sunset, priests offer Aarti River Ganga Aarti. Hundreds of devotees gather to watch this holy event.

By Train

1. The nearest railway station is at Haridwar which is 2 Km away from the Ganga Temple.

By Road

1. The direct bus is available from Delhi, Dehradun and other major cities nearby.
