Kudle Beach

Kudle beach is 1.6 km away from the temple. Beach is located on the western coast of India. There are five beaches in Gokarna which are Kudle, Om, Half moon and Paradise beach. The Gokarna beach falls one side while the remains lie on the South side of Gokarna town. Best time to visit is during Apr, May and Jun months.

Om Beach

The beach got its name from the landscape and appearance. This beach is 9 km from Gokarna Temple.

Half Moon Beach

This is one of the beautiful beaches in Gokarna Town. Hotel accommodation is available near to the beach. Beach appearance during the night will be mesmerising. Beach appears in half moon style so only the name. This beach is 8.6 km away.

Paradise Beach

This beach is 10.7 km away from Gokarna Temple. This place can be reached by walk or by boat as well. Few visitors will be around as it is not easy to access.

Karwar

Island located 40 km from Gokarna and is on the way to Goa.

Murudeshwara Temple

Temple is 81 km from Gokarna. The direct bus is available from Gokarna to Murudeshwara. Lord Siva statue is 123 ft in height and Temple Gopuram is 21 storeyed Dravidian structure. Temple is dedicated to Lord Siva and is one of the Pancha Maha Kshetras which were formed out of Atma Linga.

Jog falls

Waterfalls from 830 ft height. This fall is 112 km from the Gokarna. The direct bus is not available, private tour operators will be running vehicles. 3+ million litres of water falls every second from the hill. It is the 2nd highest waterfall in India located near Sagara taluk. Oct, Nov and Dec are the best time to visit falls.
