Kalleshwar means Gokarna Mahabaleshwar. This temple is dedicated to Shani Bhagawan. Pancha Vinayaka shrine is located here.

As per the folklore, One devotee by Name Narakesari was offering prayers to Lord Siva. He does not want to perform Pooja and Bhajan of any except Kalleshwar. Shri Guru Datta appeared in his dream and removed his ignorance.

At a distance of 1 furlong, the tomb of Sri Chidanand Swamy Maharaj is located. Daily Pooja is performed here. On the day of Magha Vadya Tritiya celebrations will be in a grand.

Shri Narasimha Saraswati from Narasobawadi straightway came to Sangam and camped here. The King of this place came to welcome him. The place where the Evil was staying became his monastery.
