It is located in the West Jaintia Hills. Suspension footbridge over Umngot river is opened for public from 29 Mar 2016. The River Umngot is known for its crystal clear water. One can see the Boat shadow in the river bed.

Boating Timings: Sunrise – before Sunset. The boat will go near to the International border.

Annual Boat race: Mar/Apr at Umsyiem.

Best Time to visit: Nov-Feb. Water flow will be high during this time.

Tourists flow will be high during Dec, Jan, Feb and May months.
