This palace was built during the reign of the King Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 – 32 AD. The palace construction reflects Hindu and Mughal architecture style. Interesting places within the Palace are Chandra Mahal, Mubarak Mahal, Sabha Niwas, Armoury, Pritam Niwas and Textile Gallery

Baghhi Khana (Hansom Gallery)

It is located at Entrance Gate 2. It has Chariots, Victoria Bagghi gifted by Prince of Whales, Palanquins etc

Sabha Niwas

Next to Bagghi Khana. This was built during the reign of Sawai Pratap Singh during 1778 – 1803 AD. It is a spacious assembly hall.

Sarvato Bhadra Chowk

West of Sabha Niwas. This hall was built to conduct the private meeting with his staff. Largest Silver Gangajali is available for the visitor’s view. This was made by the Silversmith Govindaram and Madhav. This utensil was used to Ganga water and 2 such jars were made out of 14000 silver coins for each jar.

Pritam Niwas Chowk

West to Sarvato Bhadra Chowk. This passage was built to connect the Royal Residence with Courtyards. It has 4 entrance gates with Hindus Idols at the entrance.

Mubarak Mahal

It is located at Gate No.1 entrance. This Mahal was built to entertain Foreign guests at present it is used to display Textiles of Royal family. The major attraction is the Saree of the queen which weight 9 Kg.
