Chardham constitutes visiting two holy shrines and two holy rivers namely, Kedarnath which is dedicated to Lord Siva, Badrinath is the holy abode of Lord Vishnu, Gangotri is for the River Ganga and Yamunotri is for the River Yamuna.  It usually takes 10 – 11 days, to visit all these places with Prayag in between. The helicopter ride is available to all these places and takes 2 days to visit these places.

How to reach Kedarnath Temple?

By Air

1. The nearest international airport is at Jolly Grant which is 260 km away.

By Train

1. The nearest railway station is at Rishikesh which is 263 km away.

By Road

1. It is journey thru Haridwar and Rishikesh. From Rishikesh, the temple is 221 km away which passes thru mountains.
2. From GauriKund temple is 14 km away. From GauriKund, it is by walk, or by mules or by person lifting.
