Tirupati Darshan

Darshan can be booked in online if planned in advance. Darshan includes Online booking, Current Booking, and Lucky dip booking. It is good to go with Online booking to avoid last minute tensions. Darshan is of two types, Special Entry Darshan (Rs.300 or Seegra Darshan) and Arjitha Seva tickets. All Arjitha Sevas includes Seva and Darshan. It is advisable to look for Seva tickets instead of normal darshan.

Tirupati Accommodation

Accommodation quota will be released for online booking 90 days in advance. So early planning gives us the opportunity with decent accommodation booking. Accommodation quota will be released for Tirumala and Tirupati Cottages. Tirumala is highly preferred for the stay. Next, comes Tirupati accommodation booking. Accommodation can be booked for a day in online and Room extension may not be possible at Tirumala and Tirupati.

Tirupati Travel

Pilgrims who get down at Tirupati Railway station can reach Tirumala by Bus or Cab.  It takes 1 hour 15 mins by bus and 30 mins by Cab to reach Tirumala.

Pilgrims who get down at Tirupati Airport can reach Tirumala either by Bus (Runs with 1-hour 30 mins interval) or by Private Taxi. By Taxi it takes 1 hour. By bus, it takes 2 hours 30 mins – 3 hours.

Pilgrims who reach Renigunta Railway station can reach Tirupati by Bus or Taxi. Renigunta Bus station is 2 mins walk from Renigunta Railway station. Bus frequency will be 45 mins – 1 hour.

Tirupati Interesting Places

In Tirumala and Tirupati, Private Cabs runs with high frequency to Sri Venugopala Swamy Temple, Akasa Ganga, Papavinasnam, Chakra Theertham, Sila Thoranam and Srivari Padalu. Remaining temples can be covered by walk.
