<p>Belur Math Temple History, Timings, Darshan, Pooja and Route info</p>



<p>It is located on the Banks of River Hooghly and stretched over 40 acres.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sri Rama Krishna Temple</h2>



<p>This temple was built in memory of Rama Krishna Paramahamsa on 14Jan 1938. Relics of Sri Rama Krishna were placed in this temple.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Old Temple</h2>



<p>This old temple which was built in Jan 1989 where daily Poojas are performed before moving to New temple.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Swami Vivekananda&#8217;s Room</h2>



<p>Swami Vivekananda&#8217;s used to live and his belongings are available here. He attained Mahasamadhi on 4Jul 1902 in this room.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Swami Brahmananda Temple</h2>



<p>The first president of the Math and one of the Sixteen disciples of Rama Krishna Paramahamsa. This temple was built in memory of Swami Brahmananda in 1924</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sri Sarada Devi Temple</h2>



<p>This temple was built in memory of Sarada Devi on 21 Dec 1921. Sarada Devi&#8217;s body was burnt here in 1920.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Swami Vivekananda Temple</h2>



<p>This temple was built in memory of Swami Vivekananda on 28Jan 1924. Swami Vivekananda was cremated here as per his wish, who used to spend time at Bilwa tree.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sri Rama Krishna Museum</h2>



<p>Memories of Sri Rama Krishna Paramahamsa, Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other disciples.</p>
