House Boat will anchor near to Kuttanad Village in waters.

House Boat reaches the Village by 5:30 pm.

Sleeping hours: 9:00 pm – 6:00 am. A/c will be turned on during this time only.

Next day morning Boat starts at 8:00 am from Kuttanad Village.

Reaches Alleppey Houseboat Jetty by 9:00 am

Total Distance Covered during the Journey: Around 40 Km

Children above 5 years will be charged extra.

Route 1

1. Start from Pallathuruthy and proceed to Punnamada River. ViewPoint: Nehru Trophy Boat Race Venue
2. From Punnamada River to Vembanadu Lake
3. Vembanadu Lake to R Block and C Block. ViewPoint: Man-made paddy field below the sea level.
4. From C Block to Venattukad to Munattumugham. Viewpoint: Confluence of three canals.
5. From Munattumugham to Nedumudi to Chennamkari to Kainakari to Kuppapuram to Menapally Kayal
6. Menpally to Pallathuruthy on the next day morning.

Route 2

1. Start from Pallathuruthy and proceed to Punnamada River. View Point: Nehru Trophy Boat Race Venue
2. From Punnamada River to Vembanadu Lake
3. From Marthandam Kayal to Munnattumugham to Kainakay
4. From Kainakay to Nedumudi to Champakkulam to Kangippadam to Thakazhy
5. From Thakazhy to Pallathuruthy on the next day morning.

Food Menu served during the Journey

1. Welcome drinks, fruits after starting from the boarding point. It will be served at 12:00 pm.
2. Lunch: Rice, Five types of Vegetable Dishes, Salad and Fish fry. Lunch Time: 1:30 pm. Boat halts during this time. Resume at 2:30 pm
3. Evening Hours: Tea / Coffee, Snacks will be Served. Snacks Time: 5:30 pm
4. Dinner: Chapatti, Chicken curry / Dal Curry, White Rice and four types of vegetable dish. Dinner Time: 8:00 pm
5. Breakfast: Bread toast-omelette, Steamed banana Or Appam / Poori, Egg Curry / Vegetable Curry. Breakfast Time: 8:00 am.

*Food menu varies from one boat to another. Usually, Veg /Non-Veg and Beverages will be served on the customer’s request.

Houseboat Types

There are two types of houseboats which are Premium and Deluxe. The difference is with Space and bedding comfort. Tourists spend most of their time in the Lounge. Usually, Tourists awake till 10 pm before getting into sleep.
